What’s Accessible Here?
We’ve curated an astonishing collection of photos showcasing absurd public architecture that falls short of Americans with Disabilities Act standards. From illogical ramps to impractical doorways, these designs lack even basic accessibility features.
The ADA sets clear guidelines, yet too many spaces still neglect the simplest solutions. It's time to hold businesses and public spaces accountable for creating truly inclusive environments—where everyone, regardless of ability, can move freely and confidently. Let’s push for smarter, more thoughtful designs that prioritize common sense and accessibility.
Looks like a fun ride until you hit the concrete bottom.

One of our all-time favorites.
Opposite view of the next photo. A woman was injured when her wheelchair tipped over the edge of this ramp and she fell to the pavement. That would not have happened if this ramp was ADA-compliant.
In the same parking lot as the previous photo.
Why not just park here?
